​I recall a short series of lectures in nursing school about treating patients holistically. I was captivated by that idea but in my nursing career, I was often discouraged by the constraints of modern medicine that really don’t allow practitioners to treat the whole patient or get to the root of the problem. After over two decades in the Operating Room, I made a leap within healthcare and studied at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine to earn a Masters degree in Acupuncture.

 

I have had the privilege of caring for people and their families in the midst of life altering traumas and unexpected health crisis, as well as steering them through the nerves of elective surgery. I am grateful for those experiences as they prepared me to understand the many layers of health and disease, and balance and imbalance, that I now navigate with anyone hoping to improve their wellbeing when coming to me for treatment.
